All this is part of Alex100, the program of celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great author, without which the world of games could not be what it is! How nice that even the new “gamers” can discover who has contributed more than others to create their world.

In the photo on p. 36, Dario De Toffoli is playing TwixT with Alex, at the Royal Festival hall in London, on the occasion of the first edition of the Mind Sports Olympiad, in 1997; none other than the then twenty-year-old Demis Hassabis, an absolute genius who later became the founder of DeepMind, attended the match.
