Gradara, 18-27 September 1992: during the 3rd Italian Festival for Games, through acclamation the Cartello di Gradara has been founded, a union of all the associations that deal with games and players in Italy: an important step for the development of ludic culture in Italy.
30 June - 5 July 1992: the 1st Backgammon Olympiad was held in the glamorous setting of the Casinò Municipale at the Lido of Venice. The winner is Robert Wachtel (USA).
