Cagli, 25-27 September 1998: the 6th Italian Festival for Games has took places, with demonstration tables and tournaments of more than 20 board games.
London, 24-30 August 1998: second edition for the MSO, where every kind of game has been played, from the classics board games to bizarre mental tests. The Italian team earned 9 medals, including 7 by our Dario De Toffoli!
9-12 July 1998: in the glamorous setting of the Casino at Lido of Venice was held the 10th “City of Venice” International Backgammon Tournament. The winner is Teppo Salo from Finland.
Rome, 7 December 1997: the roman Giuseppe Ricciardi won the 1st Italian Scrabble Championship. A thousand players participated at the Milano, Rome, Naples, Palermo, Bologna and Venice selections.
18 October 1997: the national final of the Italian SEI Championship took place in Rome, organized by studiogiochi in collaboration with Dal Negro. A very successful championship, which saw the participation of about 2,000 people all over Italy.
London, 18-24 August 1997: the first edition of the Mind Sports Olympiad has took place! 35 board games and mental-skills tournaments. Dario De Toffoli was one of the few Italians participants.
19-22 June 1997: the 9th “City of Venice” International Backgammon Tournament was held in the glamorous setting of the Casino at Lido of Venice. The winner is the Swedish student Markus Eek.
Marina di Carrara, 29 September 1996: Krakatoa by Walter Obert won the Premio Archimede 1996, that has took place in Marina di Carrara during the event Giochiamo & Libriamo.
25-30 June 1996: "The 2nd Backgammon Olympiad" was held in the glamorous setting of the Casino at Lido of Venice. The winner is Jerry Grande from Sweden.
Mestre, 11-15 October 1995: studiogiochi organized a ludic event in the main square of the town and many activities in the schools, to promote the culture of board games.
Cattolica, 1st October 1995: during the event "Player of the Year", the final of the "2nd Quarto! Championship" has took place. Unicopli and studiogiochi organized the championship, which in the previous months saw selections taking place in many Italian cities.
Ravensburg, 1995: Dario De Toffoli e Dario Zaccariotto hanno accompagnato i giovani Lorenza Quaggio e Stefano Pau al Campionato Europeo di Memory 1994/95, che si è svolto ad Euro Disneyland.
Cagli, 26 September 1995: Svincolando by Claudio Serravalli from Treviso won the Premio Archimede 1995, that has took place during the 6th Italian Festival for Games.
Lido di Venezia, 6 luglio-19 agosto 1995: nelle terrazze del Casinò Municipale studiogiochi organizza Casinò Giardino, con tantissimi giochi, ospiti, tornei. Pienone tutte le sere, circa 700 ingressi a sera... tempi felici!
15-18 June 1995: the 7th International Backammon Tournament "City of Venice" was held in the prestigious halls of the Municipal Casino of the Lido of Venice. The winner is Evert Van Eijck (Netherlands).
